Booking & Reservations
How do I book a rental?
+Book online through our website by selecting your equipment and dates. You'll receive an instant confirmation email with all the details you need. You can also call or text us at (480) 637-4848 if you prefer to book by phone or have questions.
How far in advance should I book?
+We recommend booking at least 1-2 weeks in advance, especially for weekends and holidays. Summer months (May-September) are our busiest season, so booking 2-3 weeks ahead is ideal. Last-minute bookings are sometimes available - just give us a call!
What is your cancellation policy?
+We understand plans change. Here's our policy:
- 48+ hours notice: Full refund
- Within 48 hours: No refund
For weather, you're responsible for monitoring conditions and getting off the water safely if weather develops during your rental — we can't recall a rental once it has launched. If a storm is forecast for your scheduled day, contact us before launch and we'll reschedule at no charge. Weather is handled by reschedule, not refund.
Is a deposit required?
+Yes, a security deposit is required at pickup. The amount varies by equipment type. Deposits are fully refundable when equipment is returned in the same condition and on time. We accept credit cards for deposits.
How big a group can you handle?
+Plenty. Each jet ski fits 2-3 riders, and the pontoon holds up to 10 passengers. Tell us your group size and date and we'll help you put the right combo together.
Pickup & Towing
Where is your pickup location?
+Our pickup location is in Apache Junction, Arizona - conveniently located near the US-60 Superstition Freeway. We'll provide the exact address and directions when you book. The location is easy to access from Mesa, Gilbert, Chandler, Tempe, Scottsdale, and Phoenix.
Do you deliver to the lake?
+No rental company can legally deliver to Canyon or Saguaro Lake — every renter tows their own out. We just make it the easiest: we're about 20 minutes from the Canyon Lake ramp (competitors are a 45-minute tow), we hitch you up and coach you through it, and we comp $20 toward a U-Haul truck on 4- and 8-hour rentals. Never towed before? You will have by the time you leave our lot.
Do you help with the U-Haul / what's the $20 comp?
+Yes. No tow vehicle or hitch? There's a U-Haul about 5 minutes from our shop that rents pickup trucks for around $20 a day, and we take $20 off your booking to cover it on 4- and 8-hour rentals (you just cover mileage). We hitch you up and walk you through loading.
What if I want to go to a different lake?
+For lakes beyond Canyon and Saguaro (like Bartlett Lake, Lake Pleasant, or Roosevelt Lake), you can pick up the watercraft from our Apache Junction location and tow it yourself. You'll need an appropriate tow vehicle with trailer hitch. We provide the trailer and all necessary equipment.
Can you deliver UTVs to the trailhead?
+No — we don't deliver UTVs to trailheads. For Bulldog Canyon OHV area, our UTVs are street-legal so you drive straight off our lot. For farther trails, add a trailer ($80/day) and tow it yourself with a 2-inch hitch and 3,500-lb tow rating. No tow vehicle? The U-Haul less than 5 minutes from our shop rents pickups for about $20/day. Book a half-day or full-day rental and we take the $20 U-Haul fee off your booking — you cover the mileage.
Requirements & What to Bring
What do I need to bring?
+Just bring a valid driver's license, sunscreen, and your sense of adventure! We provide all required safety equipment, and training. For watercraft, we recommend bringing:
- Towels and change of clothes
- Sunscreen and sunglasses
- Cooler with snacks and drinks
- Waterproof phone case (optional)
Do I need a boating license?
+Arizona does not require a boating license. However, all watercraft operators must be at least 16 years old. We provide a thorough safety orientation and training before every rental to ensure you're comfortable with the equipment.
What are the age requirements?
+Age requirements vary by equipment:
- Jet Skis: 21+ to rent, 16+ to operate
- Boats (Wakeboat/Pontoon): 25+ to rent
- UTVs: 25+ to rent
The person signing the rental agreement must be 21+ for jet skis and 25+ for boats and UTVs.
Do I need my own tow vehicle?
+It depends on your rental:
- Watercraft pickup: You'll need a vehicle capable of towing the trailer
- UTVs:You can pick up with appropriate tow vehicle and rent a trailer from us.
Equipment & What's Included
Is fuel included?
+All of our rentals go out with a full tank of gas, and we ask that you return them with a full tank as well. Each renter is responsible for the fuel they use. If you prefer not to refuel before returning, no worries — we can take care of it for you for a small refueling fee.
What safety equipment is provided?
+All required safety equipment is included:
- Watercraft: Life jackets for all passengers, fire extinguisher, throw rope
- UTVs: DOT-approved helmets, goggles, 5-point harnesses
Can I add extras like tubes or wakeboards?
+Yes! Your rental comes with extras like tubes, tow ropes, wakeboards, and water skis. You can add these during the booking process or request them when you arrive. These come at no extra charge — just ask.
What if something breaks or goes wrong?
+We maintain all our equipment meticulously, but things can happen. If you experience any issues, call us immediately and we'll help troubleshoot. For mechanical failures that aren't due to misuse, we'll work to get you back on the water/trails or provide a prorated refund.
Policies
What happens if I return late?
+Late returns are charged at an hourly rate. If you think you'll be late, please call us as soon as possible. We understand traffic and circumstances happen - communication is key. Excessive late returns may result in additional fees.
Do you offer insurance?
+Our rental agreement includes basic liability coverage. A refundable security deposit covers accidental damage; details are in your rental agreement.
What if the weather is bad?
+Safety comes first, and on the water it's your call. If a storm is forecast for your day — high winds, lightning, etc. — contact us before launch and we'll reschedule at no charge. Light rain typically doesn't affect rentals. Once you've launched, you're responsible for monitoring conditions and heading in if weather develops; we can't recall a rental once it's on the water.
