This Privacy Policy explains how East Valley Marine Rentals, LLC, doing business as Wave & Ridge Adventure Rentals ("Wave & Ridge," "we," "us"), collects, uses, and shares information when you visit waveandridge.com, book a rental, contact us, or interact with our ads. By using our website or services, you agree to this policy.

Information we collect

Information you give us

• Contact details such as your name, email address, and phone number when you fill out a form, call, text, chat with us, or book.
• Booking details such as rental dates, equipment, party size, and notes you add to your reservation.
• Waiver and rental agreement information such as your date of birth, driver's license or ID details, emergency contact, and signature, which we need to rent motorized equipment safely and legally.
• Payment information. Payments are handled by our booking platform and its payment processor. We do not store full card numbers on our website.
• Messages you send us by email, text, website chat, social media, or our forms.

Information collected automatically

When you visit our website, we and our partners automatically collect information such as your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, links clicked, the site that referred you, approximate location, and the date and time of your visit. This is collected through cookies, pixels, tags, and similar technologies (see "Cookies, pixels, and advertising" below).

Information from others

We may receive information from advertising and social media platforms (for example, that you clicked one of our ads or submitted a lead form on Facebook or Instagram), from review sites, and from people who refer you to us.

How we use information

• To take, confirm, and manage bookings, waivers, deposits, and payments.
• To answer questions and send booking confirmations, reminders, and rental instructions.
• To keep renters safe and to handle damage, claims, disputes, and insurance matters.
• To send promotions and offers, if you have opted in. You can opt out at any time.
• To measure and improve our website, ads, and services.
• To show you relevant ads on other websites and apps, including Facebook, Instagram, and Google.
• To comply with law, enforce our rental terms, and prevent fraud.

Cookies, pixels, and advertising

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies, including tags and pixels from Google (Google Analytics, Google Ads, and Google Tag Manager), Meta Platforms, Inc. (the Meta Pixel and Conversions API for Facebook and Instagram), and OpenAI (ChatGPT ads measurement), plus analytics from Cloudflare and Metricool and a reviews widget from Trustindex. These tools record actions such as page views, clicks on "Book Now," and form submissions so we can measure how our ads perform and show ads to people who have visited our site.

Customer lists

We may share hashed (encrypted) contact information, such as your email address or phone number, with Meta and Google so they can match it to their users, show our ads to existing customers or people like them, and measure results. The platforms use this matched information only on our behalf. To opt out of this use, email us at the address below.

Your advertising choices

Text messages (SMS)

If you give us your mobile number, we may text you about your inquiry or booking, such as confirmations, reminders, and rental instructions. If you separately opt in to marketing texts, we may also send offers. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. Consent to marketing texts is not a condition of any purchase.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, except service providers that deliver our messages.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as follows:

• Service providers that run parts of our business for us, such as our online booking, waiver, and payment platform; our website form, chat, phone, and text messaging providers; website hosting; and email.
• Advertising and analytics partners such as Meta, Google, and OpenAI, as described above.
• Insurance, legal, and safety. With insurers, claims adjusters, law enforcement, land and lake managers, or others when needed to handle an accident, damage claim, or dispute, to comply with law, or to protect the safety and rights of our customers, staff, equipment, or the public.
• Business transfers. If our business is sold or reorganized, information may transfer to the new owner under this policy.

How long we keep information

We keep information as long as needed to provide rentals, meet insurance, tax, and legal record-keeping requirements, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Signed waivers and rental agreements are kept for the period required by our insurers and applicable law.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections and trusted third-party platforms for bookings and payments. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and rights

• Access, correct, or delete. Email us to request a copy of your information, correct it, or delete it. We may keep information we are required to keep, such as signed rental agreements and payment records.
• Marketing emails. Use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email.
• Texts. Reply STOP.
• Ads. Use the advertising choices listed above.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state law, such as the right to know what we collect, to delete it, and to opt out of targeted advertising. To make a request, contact us below. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

Children

Our website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 online. Rentals are booked and signed for by adults who meet our rental age requirements. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Other websites

Our site links to and embeds content from other services, such as our booking platform, maps, videos, and social media. Those services have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their practices.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top shows when it was last changed. Continued use of our website or services after an update means you accept the updated policy.
