Remote Destination Planning
Apache Lake is more remote than other Salt River lakes. Basic facilities are available at Apache Lake Resort with a marina, store, and dining, but services are limited. Bring supplies for the day and fill up your fuel tank before heading out. The scenic drive and pristine conditions make it worth the planning effort.
What to Bring
Essential: Sunscreen (Arizona sun is intense), sunglasses with retention strap, light jacket or rash guard for sun/wind protection, water and snacks, camera or GoPro if you want videos.
