A lake birthday is the easiest party you will ever throw, if you know these five things.
Book two weeks out
Summer birthday weekends go fast. Booking is free to cancel up to 48 hours before, so lock the date first and plan second.
Cupcakes beat cake
They survive the cooler, skip the knife, and nobody fights over corner pieces. No glass containers on the boat.
Go full day if the group is 8+
Half days disappear fast when everyone wants a tube run. The full day costs less per hour and nobody goes home mid-fun.
Bring a waterproof phone pouch
The lake keeps what you drop. A $10 pouch saves a $1,000 phone, and the tubing videos are the real party favor.
One adult brings a truck
You tow the boat from our Apache Junction lot, and we hook it up and walk you through everything. No truck? The U-Haul 5 minutes away rents pickups for about $20 a day — and we take that $20 off any half-day or full-day booking (mileage not included).
Swim first, eat second
Anchor in a cove around noon. Kids eat faster when the tube is waiting, and the canyon walls beat any party backdrop you can buy.
Safety, handled like parents would
Every rental includes life jackets in every size, kids included, plus a full safety orientation before you leave the lot. Riders under 12 wear a life jacket at all times on the water.
The fine print that matters: the renter must be 25+ for boats and 21+ for jet skis. Jet ski operators must be 16 or older. Tubing is best for ages 8 and up. Minors need a waiver signed by a parent or guardian, and for crews under 16 keep at least one adult on each vessel.
