How the day actually goes

Pick up in Apache Junction

We hook the boat to your truck, walk your driver through everything, and hand over the keys. About 30 minutes.

Launch at Canyon Lake

Twenty minutes from our lot to the ramp. Morning water is glass; this is when the surf photos happen.

Drop anchor in a cove

Swim, float, snack, and run the playlist through the tower speakers. The canyon walls do the decorating.

Tube runs

Afternoon chop makes tubing better. Tubes, ropes, and boards are already on the boat.

Back at the ramp

Load up, drive back to our lot, drop the trailer. You are showered and at dinner in Scottsdale by 7.

The honest logistics

No surprises at pickup. Here is exactly what your group needs to make the day work.

You tow the boat

One person brings a truck or SUV with a hitch. We hook it up and walk you through launching. No truck in the group? The U-Haul 5 minutes from our shop rents pickups for about $20 a day — and on any half-day or full-day rental we take that $20 off your booking (mileage is on you).

Who can rent and drive

The boat renter and driver must be 25 or older. Jet skis are 21+ to rent and 16+ to operate. Your driver stays sober; Arizona OUI laws apply on the water.

Drinks and snacks

Bring coolers. Cans and seltzers are fine for passengers 21+, no glass on board. The marina at the lake sells ice and anything you forgot.

Cancellation and weather

Cancel 48+ hours out for a full refund. If a storm is forecast for your day, contact us before launch and we'll reschedule at no charge. Fuel: the boat leaves full and comes back full, or we refuel it for a fee.

"We had 12 people for a bachelorette party and this was the highlight of the entire weekend. The tower speakers kept the playlist going and the tubing was hilarious."

Quick answers

Nobody in our group has driven a boat. Is that a problem?

Most of our renters are first-timers. Put your most experienced driver behind the wheel, take the walkthrough seriously, and spend the first 30 minutes at no-wake speed. The Switch pontoon drives like a jet ski; the Centurion takes a little more respect but the orientation covers it.

How far ahead should we book?

Summer Saturdays book out two to four weeks ahead, and holiday weekends carry a 20% surcharge and go even faster. If your date is set, lock it in; you can cancel free up to 48 hours out.

Can we decorate the boat?

Yes. Sashes, banners, and balloons are all fine as long as everything comes back off the boat with you. Skip the glitter and confetti; the lake keeps whatever you drop.

What should everyone bring?

Swimsuits, towels, sunscreen, water, and a cooler. Layers for the drive home. One person brings the tow vehicle, everyone else just shows up.

Lock in her date

Summer weekends go first. Book the boat now, sort the matching swimsuits later.
