The lake is wider and more open, giving experienced riders room to open up the throttle on a personal watercraft. Saguaro Lake is also famous for its wild horse herds that graze along the shoreline. Spotting them from the water is one of the most unique experiences in the Phoenix area. Pick up from our Apache Junction location and head to either lake.

Jet Ski Rental FAQ: Canyon Lake, Saguaro Lake & Phoenix Area
Wave and Ridge rents 2025+ Sea-Doo Spark 3UP jet skis starting at $219 for 4 hours, $279 for a full day, or $699 for a full weekend. Most other Phoenix-area companies charge $250-$350 per day and charge $30-$60 more overall.
All jet ski renters must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver's license. Passengers can be any age, but all riders under 12 must wear a life jacket at all times. We provide USCG-approved life jackets in all sizes.
We offer a free weather guarantee. If conditions are unsafe due to high winds, lightning, or lake closures, we will reschedule your rental at no charge, no questions asked. We monitor weather and lake conditions daily and will contact you in advance if we anticipate issues.
Every rental includes a 2025+ Sea-Doo Spark 3UP (seats 3, 90 HP), USCG-approved life jackets for all riders, a 15-minute safety orientation, a weather guarantee, and a Bluetooth speaker (available on request). Reserve early and you may also get an attachable cooler (limited availability).
Canyon Lake and Saguaro Lake are the two best lakes for jet skiing near Phoenix. Canyon Lake has dramatic canyon walls and calm, emerald water, about 20 minutes from Apache Junction. Saguaro Lake offers more open water and a chance to spot wild horses along the shoreline, about 35 minutes away. You can pick up from our shop for both locations.
The 2025+ Sea-Doo Spark 3UP seats up to 3 riders with a maximum combined weight of 495 pounds. It is stable enough for two adults and a child, or three average-sized adults.
No prior experience is needed. Every rental includes a 15-minute safety orientation where Steve walks you through the controls, lake-specific navigation, right-of-way rules, and riding tips from 32 years on Arizona lakes. The Sea-Doo Spark is specifically designed to be easy for beginners while still being fun for experienced riders.
Cancellations made 72 or more hours before your rental receive a full refund. Cancellations within 72 hours may be subject to a cancellation fee. Weather-related cancellations initiated by Wave and Ridge are always fully refunded or rescheduled at no cost.
