Wave and Ridge Jet Ski, Boat, and UTV Rentals rents Sea-Doo Spark 3UP jet skis from our shop at 724 E Scenic St in Apache Junction, and right now every ski goes to Saguaro Lake, about 30 minutes away. Canyon Lake is closed for the SRP drawdown. You pick up, tow the ski on our trailer, launch at Saguaro del Norte and ride. No boating license is needed for our rentals.
Who can rent and ride
- Renter: 21 or older with a valid driver's license.
- Operator: 16 or older.
- Passengers: any age. Every rider wears a life jacket, and we provide life jackets in all sizes.
Each ski seats up to three people within a combined weight limit of 495 pounds, which works for two adults and a child, or three adults.
Riding Saguaro Lake: rules worth knowing
- Travel counter-clockwise around the lake.
- The bay in front of Butcher Jones and Saguaro del Norte is closed to motorized craft.
- The east end is no-wake. Watch for the buoys.
- Keep the engine cutoff lanyard clipped to the operator.
- Give the wild horses along the shoreline plenty of room.
- From April through October, the Forest Service says Saguaro can reach boating capacity early on weekends and holidays, so get there early.

Jet Ski Rental FAQ: Canyon Lake, Saguaro Lake & Phoenix Area
Wave and Ridge rents Sea-Doo Spark 3UP jet skis starting at $199 for 2 hours, $219 for a half day (4 hours), or $319 for a full day (8 hours). Saguaro Lake is about 30 minutes from our shop.
All jet ski renters must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver's license. Passengers can be any age, but all riders under 12 must wear a life jacket at all times. We provide USCG-approved life jackets in all sizes. More detail: do you need a boating license to rent a jet ski in Arizona?
If a storm is forecast for your rental day, contact us before launch and we'll reschedule at no charge. Once you're on the water, you're responsible for monitoring conditions and heading in if weather develops — we can't recall a rental once it has launched. Weather is handled by reschedule, not refund.
Every rental includes a Sea-Doo Spark 3UP (seats 3, 90 HP), USCG-approved life jackets for all riders, a 15-minute safety orientation, free storm-day rescheduling, and a Bluetooth speaker (available on request). Reserve early and you may also get an attachable cooler (limited availability).

The Sea-Doo Spark 3UP seats up to 3 riders with a maximum combined weight of 495 pounds. It is stable enough for two adults and a child, or three average-sized adults.
No prior experience is needed. Every rental includes a 15-minute safety orientation where Steve walks you through the controls, lake-specific navigation, right-of-way rules, and riding tips for the lake you're heading to. The Sea-Doo Spark is specifically designed to be easy for beginners while still being fun for experienced riders.
Cancellation terms are shown at checkout before you pay. If a storm is forecast for your day, contact us before launch and we'll reschedule at no charge; weather is handled by reschedule, not refund.
No special boating license is required for our rentals. The renter must be 21 or older, and operators 16 or older.
