Side by Side Rental Arizona for Bulldog Canyon

A Wave & Ridge side-by-side is a desert rental for Bulldog Canyon and the OHV trails near Apache Junction. You pick up at the shop, get a briefing, and drive a short way to the dirt.

This is not a lake day. Canyon Lake is closed for the water drawdown. Boats and jet skis go out from Saguaro Lake boat rentals. Side-by-sides are on UTV rentals.

Short answer

The renter must be 25 or older. Pickup is only at 724 E Scenic St, Apache Junction. Bulldog Canyon is about a five-minute drive from the lot. See current rates on the UTV rentals page, then reserve on Booking Central. The shop is open Monday through Saturday, 7 AM to 7 PM, and closed Sunday.

A side-by-side is the same machine as a UTV

At Wave & Ridge, a side-by-side and a UTV are the same rental: a machine built for OHV trails, not a boat or jet ski. If you are staying in the East Valley, pick up in Apache Junction and drive to Bulldog Canyon.

Day plan

  1. Confirm a renter who is 25 or older and has a valid driver's license.
  2. Open UTV rentals for current rates.
  3. Reserve on Booking Central.
  4. Arrive at the Apache Junction shop for the briefing and orientation.
  5. Drive the street-legal UTV to Bulldog Canyon. It is about five minutes from the shop.
  6. Ride in daylight, bring water, and follow the trail rules from the briefing.
  7. Return to the Scenic Street lot for check-in.

Dress for dust and sun. Closed-toe shoes beat sandals. Pack more water than you think the group will drink. Tell out-of-town riders that a desert day dries people out faster than a shaded patio afternoon.

First-time Arizona renters

If you are visiting Arizona and want a side-by-side, plan the day before you arrive. Wave & Ridge is pickup-only in Apache Junction. The day starts with a briefing at the shop. If a storm is forecast, contact us before you leave and Weather Protection covers a free reschedule. Damage protection is optional and is shown when you reserve.

Do not plan a Canyon Lake stop on a Bulldog Canyon day while the lake is closed. If the group also wants time on the water, book Saguaro Lake as its own day. The desert ride is still available. Water rentals go to Saguaro Lake.
